Thegchen Tshuljug is one of the important surviving texts of Rongzom Mahapandita Chokyi Zangpo. It consists of six chapters and presents the essential course on entering the path of the Mahayana. In this text, Rongzom Mahapandita Chokyi Zangpo also gives explanation on the Dzogchen tradition in the context of the Mahayana. The six chapters are: indicating all phenomena as equivalent to that of the magical illusion; indicating answers to objections concerning the explanation of all phenomena as equivalent to that of the magical illusion; indicating correspondence between the Great Perfection and other vehicles; indicating the nature of the Great Perfection which cannot be disproved through reasoning; indicating the tradition of the Great Perfection and indicating the skilful method of transmission.
Rongzom Mahapandita Chokyi Zangpo, the eleventh-century Buddhist master, is renowned as one of the four omniscient of the Ngagyur Nyingma, the Early Translation School of Tibetan Buddhism.
